Its a GIRL

Luke and I went to the doctor last week to get our ultrasound done to see if we were having a boy or girl. I have always wanted a boy and thought this time I would get one but we are having another baby girl. At first I wasn't too excited but then I thought Cambree would love to have a little sister. I went through all of Cambree's old clothes and it got me really excited that I was going to be able to put another child of mine in these clothes.

The name is going to take us a little while. We both dont like what each other does so like with Cambree it might be a couple months before we know what her first name will be. The middle name will be chosen by my mother. It is a tradition in our family to have the Tutu(Hawaiian for grandma) to choose the middle name. So since I just asked her last night if she would like to choose the name we wont know the middle name for a while either.

November 7th 2010 can't come soon enough. We are so excited and cant wait to see our daughter.

Arizona 2010

Cambree and I were able to go to Arizona this past month to celebrate birthdays and graduations. We love being able to go there and spend quality time with my family. Lots of laughs, food, kids playing and fun. It was nice to have all of my family together (minus Luke).
Parker had his birthday and he wanted to have a waterslide for his party. It was fun being able to watch all the kids and adults have so much fun. We also celebrated my dads and brother Allen's birthdays. Parker and Alyssa both had graduations this year. Parker from kindergarten and Alyssa from preschool. My mom, Seth and I were able to go too Alyssa's graduation. It was cute to see her sing the songs and show us how much she learned this year in school.
We also went to the lake. Everyone was hot but had a lot of fun swimming and surfing. Some day maybe I will get enough courage and do something on the water but fo now I am fine just watching.
It was a short but fun trip. I cant wait until we can move back to Arizona and be able to spend a lot more time with my family.

The Zoo

Luke's mom was able to come into town for mothers day. We decided to take Cambree and Scarlet to the zoo since they both love animals so much.

Cambree was so excited to see the animals. She is looking at the elephants and couldn't take her eyes off of the baby.

It was cold that day in Utah so we didn't stay very long but it was well worth it to spend time as a family and get some fresh air. (as much as you can get at the zoo)

And baby makes 4

Luke and I are excited to announce that we are expecting baby #2 due November 7th. I have been feeling good compared to how sick I was with Cambree. I hope this means that we could be having a boy.

Easter 2010

We were able to spend Easter with Luke's family. Luke's mom was in town and asked if she could have Cambree spend the night and there was no hesitation we said yes. We were glad to have a night alone and get some errands done that we have needed to get done. It was General Conference weekend so we didnt have church that day so we slept in Luke made me breakfast and then later that day we headed down to Salt Lake to spend the day with the family. We had a great day with the family and was able to relax and have some enjoyable conversations.

My little girl is 2

While on a Hansen family vacation to Veracruz, Mexico I was feeling really sick. Every smell made me sick and so did all the food. I decided to go home early with Luke and try and get some rest and feel better. After three diferent flights we were finally bad in Arizona and I was ready to sleep and try and feel better.
When three days had passed and I was still not feeling better we decided to take a pregnancy test. To our suprise we were in fact pregnant which made all the sickness I was having well worth it.

I called my family right away. We had to wait another week to tell his family since they were still out of town. Both families were exicted to have another edition.
The next 9 months were long. I gained a total of 55 pounds and was swollen from head to toe. I had to take tests every couple weeks to make sure that I wasnt going to go into labor early. But I went the full 9 months and 1 day over. I had to get induced.
We got a call at around 8 pm on Janurary 20th and said we could go to the hospital and get induced. Luke and I were shocked. We werent expecting it since we werent suppossed to go in til the following day. We were at his moms his house for dinner so we left and went home got things ready and headed down to the hospital.
We got there at 11pm got all checked in and got a pre-labor room and got petocin put in and off we went. Luke slept the whole time while I sat there in pain. (I will never let him forget that). At 3am they checked me and I was ready to get my epidural. We went to the delivery room and got settled in there. Luckily Luke and I were able to sleep while our moms sat and got caught up on each others lives. They broke my water and then things went really fast. My ob doc came to check me and said it might be a little while so she went to her office. But Cambree was ready to come to the world. Not long after she left I was ready to push. She almost didnt make it back in time to deliever Cambree but luckily she made it.
I pushed for about 30 minutes and out came Cambree. It was not painful at all and I cant wait to have another one. Hopefully our next baby will be just as smooth.

Our delivery room was full. We had both our moms, my sister and 3 doctors. I loved having everyone there and wouldnt change a thing. In the waiting room was my sister in law, Melissa and my best friend from high school, Brooke. They were all excited to see what Cambree would look like.

We were moved into the recovery room and thats where we spent the next day. We were able to have our friends and family come visit us. We were both excited to go home and get to know our Cambree.

My mom was nice enough to stay with us for 2 weeks to help me and cook us food. Thanks mom that was great.
I cant believe two years have already gone. Cambree is such a blessing to have in our lives and she teaches us new things every day.

Christmas 2009

Cambree is getting older now and she is starting to understand Christmas and she was loving that she was able to get presents this year. We got her some goldfish this year. Cambree loves them. She will sit and look at them for hours and makes faces at them. I love being able to see her grow up and learn about new things.

We spent Christmas Eve with Lukes dad and his family. We went out that night and looked at Christmas lights and had some good quality family time. When we got home we told the story of Christmas and watch some movies about it too.

Christmas morning I woke up and finish cooking for Christmas dinner. We then drove to my Aunt and Uncles house an spent Christmas moring with my family. It was a lot of fun. Never adul moment in my family . We ate, opened presents and sang songs. If you know my aunt at all you know there is always singing at her house. My cousin Thomas sang a gospel song he learned from the summer. It was very intertaining. I love spending time with my family. I love them all so much.
After we left my families we went over to Lukes brothers house and spent Chrtimas night with Lukes mom, sister her family, his brother and his roomates and some friends. We ate some good food and spent most of the nigh chatting and laughing. Lukes mom got Cambree a battery operated quad for Christmas and she loves it. She is just like her dad and she is standing on it and trying to do different tricks. (Hopefully she wil have better luck than Luke and she wont get into any accidents when she gets older.) Lukes family is always fun to be around and it was a great Christmas.
Hopefully next year we can make in out to Arizona and spend it with my family . It is always hard for me to not be around them and spending holidays away from them is even harder. Hopefully the economy will pick up and we can move back sooner than we think.

Merry Christmas to all and have a wonderful new year
